What's Your Vibe?
Develop your character with fun details.

STUDENT/PLAYER GUIDE

Your mission is to develop your character a bit more - so we're going to do a virtual scavenger hunt that captures some fun aspects of your stage persona.

Step 1: In order to ‘style’ your avatar, you will draw, take pictures, or copy images from the internet, and then  you will paste them into your section in your band’s Google slides. Choose from the following:

  • Wardrobe: something distinctive your character likes to wear to band practices.
  • Snack food or beverage of choice.
  • Your vehicle of choice (you can draw this or share a photo).
  • Another musician who inspires you (you can draw this person or share a photo).
  • Something in nature that best represents your vibe (you can draw this, share a photo, or share an actual object).

Step 2: Share your stuff with the group and explain why you chose each item. Be sure to share some KSHH feedback with others when it's their turn.

Step 3: Add your KSHH feedback in your band’s Google slides.

TEACHER/PRODUCER GUIDE

  1. Introduce the activity and confirm all players understand the steps.
  2. Invite each player to update their Google slides with their responses.
  3. Run step 1 within 5-10 minutes (set a timer).
  4. Nominate a player to share their items. Encourage them to explain their choices.
  5. Nominate the next person to give KSHH to the previous player, and then present their choices, and repeat until everyone has a turn.
  6. Invite each player to add their KSHH feedback to their band’s appropriate Google slide.
  7. Model KSHH feedback by sharing something kind, specific, honest, or helpful with each player. Invite others to do the same with at least one other player.
